Friday night we ended up not cleaning our spot, because it looked like it might rain and our lazy bones were glad for the excuse. Instead, we got up early and did it Saturday. We jogged to our spot (a little over a mile), cleaned for just over an hour (in the heat and the bugs!), and then walked back. We made an impromptu stir-fry with vegetables and tofu for lunch (which was delicious!) and then ran a few errands by car--which we're a little ashamed of, but one of them was to drop off our bikes for a tuneup about 10 miles away, and so it seemed like the most reasonable option.
